Installation and Setup for X4/X4F Rear Bar

This XRAY 303848 rear anti-roll bar is an RC-scale upgrade made for the X4 and X4F rear suspension arms, fitted in the above-arm mount arrangement. The 1.8mm diameter is chosen to alter rear roll stiffness for finer handling balance on touring-style chassis.

Rotation is supported by ball-bearing mounts to minimise friction and maintain consistent movement. Height is adjusted via a screw-mounted link so setup changes can be carried out quickly, and laser-engraved stripes identify the bar thickness without guesswork.

From a setup standpoint, increasing rear bar thickness increases rear roll stiffness which typically reduces body roll and can shift the car toward understeer; conversely, thinner bars soften rear response. Make small changes and evaluate on-track to establish the right balance.
