Rear bulk head replacement for YR-X12

This aluminium rear bulk head is designed to fit the Yokomo YR-X12 1/12 competition chassis. The black anodized surface finish and bevelled edges reduce sharp corners and produce a uniform appearance. It serves as the rear structure that locates suspension and drivetrain attachment points on the rear of the chassis.

Compatibility is indicated for YR-X12 and YR-X1219 chassis platforms. The component preserves the original mounting footprints and replaces the factory rear bulk head while keeping chassis geometry intact for consistent handling.

Installation guidance: align the bulk head with the chassis rear section and secure using the vehicle's existing mounting points and hardware; verify alignment before applying final torque to ensure proper rear suspension and drivetrain positioning. The anodized coating helps limit surface wear and offers the expected corrosion resistance for treated aluminium parts.

Tuning considerations: upgrading to a machined aluminum rear bulk head can alter mounting stiffness and improve repeatability at the rear, which is useful when refining 1/12 setup balance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes. The part is specified to be compatible with both YR-X12 and YR-X1219 platforms and retains the original mounting footprints to allow direct replacement in most standard builds.
No special fasteners are generally required; use the existing hardware from the vehicle. If your original screws show wear, replace them with the same specification hardware to ensure correct clamping force.
After fitting, check suspension geometry and drivetrain alignment visually and by moving the suspension through its travel. Ensure no binding occurs and re-check fastener torque after an initial test run.
