Rear upper mount tuned for RO2.0 handling

The Yokomo RO-018RDG is a rear shock tower and rear upper mount built for RO2.0 models where suspension forces are concentrated. The item features a graphite-containing resin in the critical load areas between shock mounts and the upper arm mount, delivering increased stiffness at force transfer points.

In practice the RO-018RDG reduces flex at the rear shock attachment, which can help maintain traction under drive and during weight swaps. The component is intended for use on RO2.0 platforms and associated ROR-020 chassis arrangements.

To fit, remove the existing rear tower, transfer any shocks and hardware, and secure the RO-018RDG using the original mounting locations. No extra hardware should be necessary, but always check thread engagement and apply correct torque to avoid damage on reassembly.

Because the rear mount is stiffer, expect changes in small-input response and roll behavior; consider revising shock valving, spring rates, and anti-roll adjustments after installation to fine-tune handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Inspect the molded resin at the shock and arm mounts for cracks or deformation, confirm fastener integrity, and replace the tower if any structural damage is visible.
Use the chassis manufacturer’s torque guidelines where available, ensure threads are clean, and avoid over-tightening which can strip the mounting holes or damage the resin material.
A stiffer rear mount can alter wear patterns on adjacent components; check suspension pivots and fasteners more frequently after installation and retune damping and springs as needed to maintain predictable handling.
