About the 550-class G-Series motor

The Kyosho 70708 550 Class G-Series Motor G32L Single is an RC-scale spare motor supplied individually for 550-class electric models. It is intended for use as a replacement or tuning component within hobby electric model assemblies and should not be used in full-size vehicles.

This single-ended G-Series motor is compatible with the standard 550 motor mounts and pinion configurations commonly used in 1/10-scale electric kits. Installers must confirm motor mount spacing and pinion alignment prior to completing assembly to avoid incorrect gear meshing. Match the motor with an ESC and battery that meet its electrical rating for safe operation.

For upkeep and tuning, keep the motor accessible for periodic inspection of the shaft and brushes where applicable, and ensure adequate ventilation in the motor bay. When replacing a unit, transfer the existing pinion gear and fasten it using the original set screw pattern or compatible hardware to suit your chassis.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Measure your motor mount spacing and check the shaft position relative to the spur gear; compatibility requires the standard 550 mount dimensions and a single-ended output arrangement.
Ensure the ESC and battery are rated for the motor's electrical characteristics. Using undersized components can cause overheating or damage, so select gear with appropriate current and voltage capacity.
Keep the motor clean and inspect bearings and brushes periodically. Maintain airflow around the motor and address any unusual noise or vibration promptly to extend service life.
