Replacement wrist pin for model engine maintenance

The YS Engine YSF5126 piston wrist pin FZ53 is supplied as an internal spare to replace damaged or worn wrist pins in RC-scale glow engines. It secures the piston to the connecting rod within the crankcase of small model engines.

Model engineers performing an overhaul will use this part when wear shows at the piston pin bore or the rod eye. Follow normal disassembly: remove the piston assembly, inspect the bore and circlips, test-fit the wrist pin to ensure free movement, and apply correct lubrication before reassembly.

Replacing the wrist pin during service restores correct piston alignment and reduces lateral play that can affect compression and consistent running behaviour. After installation always verify endplay and fit, and renew any circlips or seals as required.
