The 1/12 scale model kit recreates the Repsol RC211V '06 motorcycle with attention to both external body shapes and engine authenticity.
The Honda RC211V was introduced in the early 2000s as a 990cc V5 four-stroke race machine developed under the period's displacement rules. Ridden by the Repsol Honda team through 2006, the RC211V combined a compact V5 powerplant with a chassis set up for high-speed circuit performance. Subsequent changes to regulations led to new design approaches by manufacturers in later seasons.
This assembly kit reproduces signature elements of the 2006 RC211V, including refined cowling contours, the triple-exit exhaust arrangement, and the airbox forward of the fuel tank. New parts cover the clutch casing and fuel tank, and the decal set includes options for Daniel Pedrosa's No.26 and Nicky Hayden's No.69. Several body panels are fastened with small screws so they can be removed to show internal areas.
The kit faithfully models the 990cc V5 engine architecture and supplies metal-plated components for the frame and swing arm to enhance realism. Cartograf waterslide decals are included for precise livery reproduction, and solid rubber racing slick tyres complete the authentic presentation.
A highly detailed 1/12 assembly model that reproduces the 2006 Repsol Honda RC211V exterior and engine layout, aimed at collectors and modellers who prioritise accurate display pieces.
