Product Overview and Care

This replacement 3mm shaft is built for the Scorpion S-2212 family of outrunner motors and equivalent small electric motor designs. It is provided as a bare shaft intended for use when the original shaft shows wear, bend or damage that impairs axial alignment.

Use with S-2212 series motors only unless a direct physical match is confirmed. Verify bearing inner diameter, shaft shoulder positions and overall length before committing to installation. Bearings and prop adapters are not included and must be transferred from the original motor or obtained separately.

Fitting the shaft requires motor disassembly: remove the endbell, withdraw the rotor, remove the old shaft and press in the new one, confirming bearings seat squarely. Reassemble and check for minimal axial play and smooth rotation; ensure the prop adapter and any fixing screws are correctly aligned.

When correctly installed the shaft reduces runout and supports predictable bearing wear. After service, carry out a balance check and a slow rotation test to confirm quiet, vibration-free operation prior to full-power use.
