This finned heatsink is intended for HPI Savage 21, Savage 25 and Savage X 13 engine heads and is identified by part code HSA-027/B. It provides extra fin surface around the head to aid heat dispersion during prolonged running.

The component replaces the stock head cooling element on compatible Savage heads and aligns with the existing mounting holes. Always check for interference with your tuned pipe and headers before final tightening, and use thread-lock plus the torque settings recommended by the engine supplier.

Being a passive cooling device, it does not change timing or fuel settings. Its benefit is lowered peak head temperature under load, which can help stabilise engine behaviour between runs.
