Steering saver posts for MR-4 setups

Yokomo SD-200BA is a replacement servo saver post kit intended for MR-4 series servo saver assemblies used on scale RC drift cars. The blue anodized aluminum struts reduce flex compared with standard plastic parts, and the kit includes matching knurled nuts plus a servo saver spring to preserve the original damping action.

Role and fitment: fitted where the servo saver meets the steering linkage, these posts provide a firmer mounting point while keeping the protective travel that prevents overloading the servo. The added rigidity supports steadier steering behaviour when fine-tuning drift setups.

Fitment notes: remove the OEM posts and install the SD-200BA struts, ensure threads are fully engaged, and tighten the knurled nuts without over-tightening. The supplied spring continues to limit shock to the servo, so check centring and free travel after installation. For tuning, change spring seating or preload in small steps and evaluate on your chosen surface.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Aluminium posts resist flex and abrasion better than standard plastic posts, which can improve long term stability and reduce deformation under repeated loads.
After fitting, ensure the spring sits flush in its recess and that the servo returns to neutral with no binding. If the spring is misaligned, re-seat and re-check travel before running.
If installed and adjusted correctly the included spring will continue to protect the servo from shocks; incorrect preload or overtightening can increase load, so follow the fitting notes and inspect regularly.
