TYPE-C Shock Tower Description

The Yokomo SD-017CA is a matched front and rear molded shock tower kit intended for drift-style RC chassis. It serves as an aftermarket upgrade to factory towers on chassis using the DP-DP7C mounting arrangement and is produced in molded plastic for routine use.

These towers provide the upper mounting points for suspension links and shock tops; swapping them alters roll center and camber under load, allowing setup changes that influence grip and rotation. Fitment is performed with the supplied screws and washers, and care should be taken to check alignment during assembly.
