Stiffen your SRX8E chassis with a carbon battery plate

The Serpent 600951 Carbon Fiber Battery Mount is crafted for the Cobra SRX8E buggy to offer a secure, low-mass platform for saddle pack cells. The 2mm carbon construction reduces weight and raises chassis rigidity, helping the buggy hold line through fast corners. It is a practical upgrade for those tuning their handling and balance for race conditions.

Will the Serpent 600951 affect cornering balance?

The added stiffness from the 2mm plate can shift balance toward sharper steering and increased front feedback; test with setup changes to find the best tune.

How do I care for the carbon surface after racing?

Clean the plate with a soft cloth and mild detergent or isopropyl; inspect mounting holes and hardware for wear after heavy use.

Can I run this mount on off-road and carpet tracks?

Yes, the mount is suitable for a variety of surfaces; its extra stiffness helps maintain consistent handling across different track types.
