The Serpent Project 4X EVO is a 1/10 electric touring car developed with setup accuracy in mind. David Ehrbar's concept separates roll and heave tuning so racers can achieve consistent balance lap after lap.
By separating roll and heave, the car allows independent tuning of lateral and vertical dynamics. The dedicated heave dampers fitted above the chassis at the front and rear help lower the centre of gravity and contribute to steadier mid corner behaviour.
The 2mm carbon fibre chassis provides a tuned flex response suitable for competitive environments. The motor mount, made from 7075 T6 aluminium, supports the midshaft assembly and links into the RRS to preserve drivetrain alignment without excess mass.
Key items such as the bladeless aluminium front spool and gear differential are selected for repeatable handling and reliable power transfer. The overall component package keeps weight low to aid responsiveness and tyre life.
The Serpent Project 4X EVO is made for drivers who like to tune their setup precisely, providing a predictable platform for both practice and competition.
