The Serpent 500192 - SRX2 Gear Differential Set replaces the ball unit with a compact gear solution that focuses on repeatable behaviour and serviceability for the SRX2 platform.

Engineered Gear Layout for Consistency

A compact composite housing splits into two sides and contains a central 51T gear. The set uses 14T small gears and 28T large sintered metal gears for improved wear resistance, while the tooth profiles promote smooth differential rotation under varying load.

Precision Parts and Leak-Resistant Seals

Cross-shafts are aluminium and include flat spots to aid secure fitment, and the silicone seals are shaped to sit precisely in their grooves to reduce oil loss. One housing half has four small metal threaded nuts recessed flush with the case to receive bolts from the opposite side. Diff adaptors are machined from Serpent Spring Steel SSS and reduced in mass to a dry weight of 28.9 grams.
