Fine-Tuned Damping and Shock Durability

The suspension features RCM 16mm big-bore shocks with anodised aluminium bodies and 4mm rods for reliable damping over repeated jumps. Adjustable ride height and durable membranes with O-rings reduce oil loss and keep shock behaviour consistent.

Efficient Powertrain with Oversized Gears

Compact gear differentials using oversized Mod 1.25 gears improve durability and torque distribution. The 13T/44T gearing and 44T central spur deliver crisp throttle response and strong acceleration for exiting corners cleanly.

The superlow SRX8E bodyshell fitted to the Serpent 600022 is supplied pre-painted and pre-cut for immediate use and aerodynamic benefit. Basic RC tools are sufficient for routine service: hex drivers, diff tools and shock pliers. For advanced work you may want a torsion wrench or precision calipers for setup checks.
You can upgrade to other brushless motors that fit the existing mount and do not exceed recommended current draw for the ESC. Check motor length and mounting pattern before purchasing.
Clean off dirt and moisture, remove batteries, and store in a dry place. Periodically check fasteners and lubricate drivetrain components to prevent corrosion.
Try reducing rear toe-in slightly, firming rear ride height, or adjusting diff preload to sharpen traction on exit while maintaining mid-corner stability.
