The Serpent 600023 SRX8 RTR arrives as a turn-key 1/8 scale racing buggy for club and regional events. Its .21 Serpent pull-start engine combines straightforward starting with consistent track performance, while the 4WD cardan drive keeps traction balanced through corners.

Precision machined chassis and protection

A 3mm 7075 T6 aluminium chassis plate gives the SRX8 a dimensionally stable base for setup work. The built-in front kick-up angle helps during rough landings, and countersunk mounting points with exact slots ensure accurate suspension placement. Composite sideguards protect critical components during running.

Suspension travel and steering accuracy

The suspension uses oversized composite nylon arms with adjustable downstop screws so you can tune travel and rake. An angled steering layout with composite blocks and 10-degree C-hubs provides predictable steering response and controllable turn-in at speed.

Engine, pipe and clutch tuning

The included Serpent pull-start engine is user friendly for starting and tuning on race day. The polished inline tuned pipe supports throttle response and produces a focused exhaust note, while the 3-shoe racing clutch ensures consistent power transfer under acceleration.
