The Serpent Cobra GT 3.0 is a 1/8 scale nitro touring kit developed with track consistency in mind. The core chassis uses 7075-T6 aluminium and carbon fibre shock towers to combine rigidity with controlled flex where needed for handling balance.

Equipped with the XLi superlight 2-speed gearbox, borrowed from the Viper 977-Evo, the Cobra GT 3.0 benefits from lower inertia and crisper acceleration. Precision machined aluminium middle bearing blocks mount the gearbox and a double brake system to retain alignment under heavy use.

Suspension components are fully independent with updated aluminium C-hubs and uprights to refine steering feel. The angled shock mounting using aluminium risers increases tyre contact patch stability and delivers reliable cornering traits during long runs.

Chassis Layout and Long Term Reliability

The drivetrain features spring-steel components and stable gear differentials to handle race stresses. The 3mm 7075 T6 aluminium chassis has machined pockets to reduce mass while keeping stiffness, and a front kick-up geometry that complies with common racing regulations.
