SRX8 Gen4 Suspension Boot Overview

The SER601358 package contains front and rear shock boots designed for the SRX8 Gen4. These boots act as a barrier against dust and debris entering the shock body and contacting the shaft seals, which helps limit component wear between maintenance sessions.

To fit, slide each boot down over the shock shaft from above and seat it at the shock cap or spring retainer. Cycle the suspension to confirm full travel without binding, and inspect around springs and collars to ensure nothing restricts movement.

During setup and testing the boots help keep contaminants away from seals and shafts so damping remains more predictable over several runs, cutting down how often shocks must be stripped and serviced.
