The Serpent 802252 Front Shaft Lock Set converts the 710 one-way front axle on the 720-09 200mm GP into a fixed front axle, improving braking distribution across all wheels. It is suited to drivers who tackle tight, low-traction tracks and want later, more controlled braking.

What the kit contains and its function

The kit provides two pins, two o-rings and an aluminium bushing that together lock the front axle. The pins thread through the one-way axle and drive shaft adaptors, while the bushing and o-rings clamp everything in place for dependable braking under load.

Installation notes and switching back

Fit the assembly by sliding the bushing over the pins and securing with the o-rings. The lock set can remain installed for everyday running, and removing the pins restores the one-way behaviour when required for different track conditions.
