The Serpent 804009 Natrix 748-e is a purpose-built 1/10 electric touring car for drivers who want a controllable, tuneable platform. Crafted with input from Michael Salven and Nacho Lopez, it focuses on stability and fine adjustment for lap time consistency.
Its 3mm carbon fibre chassis is CNC machined to offer consistent flex characteristics and strength. The symmetrical design helps even out torsional behaviour, while the independent double wishbone suspension and RCM SS shocks enable precise damping and corner balance.
Driven by kevlar reinforced timing belts, the 4WD layout distributes torque efficiently and the front and rear gear differentials help maintain traction during corner exit. The aluminium motor mount also secures the mid-shaft to improve weight centralisation and reliability.
Adjustable steering blocks, camber and caster settings give a wide tuning range to suit different driving techniques. Ballraced anti-roll bars and a low LCG steering and servo arrangement lend quick steering response for tighter lines.
Ideal for competitive drivers, the Serpent 804009 Natrix 748-e provides a solid base for detailed setup work and component upgrades to refine its on-track behaviour.
