The gears now feature a deeper profile and refined fitment to minimise backlash and improve drive smoothness. Hardened spring steel axles are supplied to improve durability while keeping weight down.

Improved Oil Management

The updated case design stores more oil than previous versions to keep damping consistent across extended use. A small bleed port allows excess oil to escape, and you can plug it with a grub screw when preferred.

Compatibility and Upgrade Considerations

Although V2 requires updated pulley sizes and a sidebelt, it is backwards compatible with the 748 V1 gear differentials, offering a flexible upgrade path. Larger pulleys cut belt bending and are offered in both regular and low friction white types.
