This RC-grade silicone oil is designed for gear-type differentials fitted to radio-controlled cars. It serves as a tuning medium that changes internal damping and torque transfer inside the differential, allowing subtler handling adjustments without altering mechanical parts.
To apply: replace or top up the oil in the gear diff housing to modify centre, front or rear diff behaviour according to your chassis and driver preference. As a fluid tuning method, small differences in viscosity can have a marked effect on traction and rotation; make measured changes and document each step.
Fitment notes: ensure you clean differential internals and bearings thoroughly before introducing new oil to prevent contamination, perform the work on a clean surface, and operate the diff after filling so the fluid settles into gears and cross pins. Fit correct seals to guard against leaks and inspect for any foam or trapped air following the fill.
Care and storage: keep the bottle upright in a cool dry environment, tighten the cap after use, and avoid contact with painted finishes as silicone oils may affect certain paints and plastics. Dispose of surplus fluid in line with local waste disposal guidance.
