The Arrowmax am-210029 silicone diff fluid is supplied in a 59ml bottle and specified at 60.000cst. It is intended for use inside model car differentials to tune damping and should not be used as a primary gear or bearing lubricant.
Application effect: changing the oil viscosity alters how rapidly torque is transferred between wheels, affecting traction transfer, cornering balance and throttle response. Fit the oil only to sealed diffs or gear-type limited-slip units that accept silicone fluids.
Service steps: drain the existing fluid, examine gears, bearings and seals for wear or contamination, then refill to the appropriate volume for your differential design. Keep the work area clean to avoid introducing grit, and dispose of used fluid responsibly.
Tuning approach: make viscosity changes in small increments and evaluate on the same track or surface. Record handling notes; higher viscosity tends to increase locking and mid-corner stability while lower viscosity promotes freer differential rotation.
Handling and storage: keep the bottle capped and stored at room temperature away from sunlight. Prevent contact with painted parts and plastics that may be affected and clean any spills right away.
