Front shock stay details for Tomahawk 85WC

This SP F Shock Stay is a front shock mounting part designed specifically for Tomahawk 85WC, supplied as a pair of CNC-machined 3mm black FRP components. The stay delivers a flat, rigid surface for shock attachment while avoiding implied changes to other drivetrain parts.

Use notes: intended as an optional front shock stay on Tomahawk 85WC, the stay can be adapted to Scorpion-series chassis only when used with SCW040 Adjustable Shocks. Note that the SCW013 HG Shock Set is not supported by this stay, so confirm your shock model before purchase.

Installation and tuning role: this stay replaces the factory front shock mount to help preserve geometry under load and make suspension adjustments more consistent. Maintain original mounting hardware where directed and follow chassis instructions for safe removal and installation.

Compatibility summary: Tomahawk 85WC front; Scorpion-series compatibility requires SCW040 Adjustable Shocks; incompatible with SCW013 HG Shock Set.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Basic hand tools for shock removal and reinstallation are sufficient; follow the chassis manual and swap the shocks carefully to avoid misalignment of the mounting points.
Use appropriate washers and correct torque on fasteners to prevent crushing the FRP. Inspect contact surfaces and avoid overtightening to reduce stress concentrations.
A 3mm FRP panel provides a balance of stiffness and light weight, improving mount stability compared with thin plastic while still offering some flex under extreme impact.
