18T motor pinion designed for Super Baja

This 18T motor pinion is offered for Team Losi Super Baja vehicles and sold as SSB018T. Manufactured from hardened steel #45, the pinion is meant for use on electric motor drives and not for road or full-size vehicle applications.

Fitting an 18T in place of the original 19T alters the final drive ratio and is a straightforward way to tune acceleration and top speed tradeoffs on the model. When installing, use the motor mount hole marked 18T so the pinion sits correctly relative to the motor shaft.

Material and fit: the gear uses hardened steel #45 to provide good wear resistance under normal RC motor loads, and it is intended to mesh cleanly with the vehicle spur and drive components. After mounting, check gear mesh and motor position to prevent premature wear.
