Extended Chassis for Controlled Dynamics

The long aluminium main chassis improves stability during fast direction changes and under acceleration. Front-weighting contributes to grounded steering feel, helping the buggy bite into corners with confidence.

Lowered Profile and Aerodynamic Support

A reshaped front and rear shock tower design combined with a low motor mount reduces the centre of gravity and improves the car's aero behaviour. This helps maintain composure during aggressive driving lines.

Graphite Construction and Shock Precision

Graphite is used across critical components to balance stiffness and low mass. The 13mm big bore shock setup, complete with the 2.5mm piston, gives a consistent damping platform that is easy to tune for varying track conditions.

Will the SOR-030 handle wet or slightly damp tracks?

It is optimised for dry, high-traction surfaces. On damp tracks you will need different tyres and softer damping to maintain grip and control.

Does the kit come with shocks pre-assembled?

Shocks are supplied as part of the kit but will require assembly and oiling as part of the build process to achieve the desired damping characteristics.

How durable are the graphite components in competition use?

Graphite gives a good strength-to-weight ratio for racing. Inspect parts regularly and carry spares for quick replacement after hard impacts.

What is the easiest way to improve corner entry grip?

Adjusting front roll centre and reducing front toe-in, along with tyre compound selection, are effective first steps to increase corner entry traction.
