Aluminium hex adapter for T3-01 rear axle

This aftermarket hex adapter is designed for the TAMIYA T3-01 DANCING RIDER chassis and links the rear axle to the wheel hub. Fabricated from T6 aluminium, the adapter replaces the stock hex with a 12mm standard to reduce wobble between the hub and wheel.

Technical details: the adapter is made from high tensile T6 aluminium, the hex thickness is 8.5mm, and the component is specified as +1mm thicker than the original hex to widen the rear track. The set includes stainless steel flat head screws (2.5x16) and washers for mounting.

Use case: the thicker hex and reduced gap lower lateral play and can improve rear stability during cornering, while the 12mm profile gives consistent wheel seating for replacement rims. This is a small, practical upgrade for firmer wheel retention.

Fitment guidance: fit the adapter onto the rear axle and wheel with the supplied screws and washers, check hub compatibility on the T3-01, and ensure correct torque settings to avoid damaging threads or deforming the aluminium hex.
