Soft Front Tyres Made for the Tamiya F104 Range

These soft compound front tyres are intended for the Tamiya F104, F104X1 and F104 Version II cars and are shaped to sit correctly on the standard F104 foam wheel. They fit parts 54400 (F104 Metal Plated Wheels) and 51378 (F104 Spare Wheels Set) and help increase steering precision on both carpet and asphalt tracks.

Fitment Steps and Glue Instructions

The Tamiya 1031 F1 Soft Front Tires are formulated to improve front adhesion and steering feedback. Insert the supplied foam carefully so it is uniform with no folds. Drill a 2mm vent hole in each wheel to release trapped air and create the proper air gap. Push the tyre onto the wheel from the outside face, ensure the walls are aligned, then use CA glue around the rim to secure the tyre and leave it to dry fully before use.
