Precision 13T motor pinion for Tamiya 1/14 trucks

The 13T precision alloy motor gear is supplied as a single-piece upgrade for Tamiya 1/14 tractor trucks; the TRU013T is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium and intended for RC motor and gearbox applications only.

Engineering notes: the component is made to function with both single-shaft and double-shaft rear gearbox formats, giving a hardened alternative to stock plastic pinions and adding protection for the gear train. CNC machining focuses on tooth accuracy and resistance to distortion under typical RC loads.

Setup and compatibility: mounts in the motor housing and fits standard 13T pinion meshes found on the listed Tamiya models; check your shaft arrangement before fitting. Switching to the alloy pinion can decrease wear on plastic gears and deliver steadier gearbox performance during heavy running or towing.

Included hardware and contents: 3x14 stainless steel button head screws - 8 pcs, 3x20 stainless steel button head screws - 4 pcs, and the alloy motor gear with mounting screw as supplied in the single-piece set.

Yes, it is designed for standard 13T pinion meshes and will fit stock motor arrangements provided the shaft type and spacing match the listed models.
Aluminium offers improved rigidity which can result in a more consistent mesh and in many cases a reduction in noise caused by gear flex, though final noise levels depend on mesh and motor alignment.
Check existing lubrication and reapply or refresh grease on the gearbox as part of the installation to ensure smooth operation and longevity of mating gears.
