The Tamiya 12037 - 1/12 Lotus Type 78 kit allows modellers to assemble a faithful representation of the wedge-era F1 car that influenced late 1970s racing design. The parts set is organised to recreate the character of the 1978 and 1979 machines with period-accurate lines and fittings.

Upgraded Detail with Photo-Etched Parts

This re-release adds photo-etched items for fine detailing such as brake discs and radiator grilles, and includes two styles of front and rear wing tips so you can choose the setup you prefer. Cloth seat belts are provided to enhance cockpit authenticity and final presentation.
