The Honda CB1100R debuted at the 1981 Earls Court Motorcycle Show as a street-legal bike with a track-inspired look, finished in a red and white scheme with gold wheels. Its 1,062cc air-cooled 4-cylinder DOHC engine was rated around 115hp and allowed top speeds near 220km/h in period reports.
Tamiya's 1/12 kit reproduces those hallmarks with precise plastic components and attention to mechanical detail. The Tamiya 14008 kit supplies accurately moulded parts for the engine, suspension and bodywork, along with steerable front wheel geometry and lifelike rubber tyres. Waterslide decals are included for authentic markings.
