This 1/12 scale plastic model kit reproduces the Repsol Honda RC211V with a strong emphasis on engine and chassis detail, aimed at collectors and modelmakers seeking accurate static displays.
Honda developed the Repsol Honda RC211V in the early 2000s as a four-stroke, V5-engined competition bike. Its compact V5 configuration, under-seat fuel tank placement, and Unit Pro-Link rear suspension were engineering approaches intended to concentrate weight and refine handling. The RC211V was campaigned by factory teams during the shift to four-stroke dominance in premier-class racing.
The kit recreates the RC211V V5 engine layout, including the engine orientation and the characteristic exhaust routing. The exhaust system and outlets are modelled to reflect the prototype arrangement. Metal-plated components are supplied for the frame and swing arm to provide a realistic metallic finish on assembly. Upper bodywork and the seat cowl are secured with tiny precision screws to permit removal for detailing or alternate display setups. Decals are supplied to reproduce the Repsol scheme and include two rider numbers provided by the maker.
A suitably detailed static model for catalogue-accurate display and collection presentation.
