The Tamiya 15132 Special Ratio Gearing is a straightforward upgrade for Mini 4WD fans who want higher top speed from their models. Designed for Type 5, Zero and Super 1 chassis, the 3:5:1 gearing favours top-end performance and suits cars running smaller diameter tyres typical of Fully Cowled Mini 4WD builds.

These gears were originally part of Tamiya's Grade Up Option Parts range and have been reissued to support modern tuning needs. The set allows a change toward 3.5:1 from a standard 4:1 depending on race strategy, and it is also compatible with Super FM and Super TZ chassis for broader application.
