The Tamiya 15548 Jr 2mm Carbon Wide Front Plate with Sliding Dampers is a carbon upgrade targeted at enthusiasts wanting a lower weight front end without sacrificing rigidity. Constructed from high grade carbon fibre, it is approximately 40% lighter and more rigid than the aluminium front plate included as Item 15469, and it features the "MINI 4WD / HIGH GRADE CARBON" mark plus the Tamiya logo.

Roller choices and chassis fitting advice

With multiple fixing holes the plate accepts 9mm, 13mm, 17mm and 19mm rollers to suit different track layouts. It is compatible with MA, MS, VZ, FM-A, AR, VS and Super-II chassis, but you may need small body or chassis alterations to achieve a perfect fit with larger rollers.

Notes on the sliding damper requirement

The sliding damper movement requires the separately available Item 15469 Wide Front Sliding Damper. Careful setup of rollers and damper parts will let you exploit the plate's reduced mass while keeping predictable handling.
