The Honda Gorilla emerged as a compact leisure motorcycle in 1978, evolving from the popular Monkey. It used a 49cc air-cooled motor and a four-speed manual transmission, and the 1998 reissue introduced chrome detailing that refreshed its classic look.
Tamiya's 1/6 model reproduces the 1998 Gorilla proportions and distinctive features. With dimensions of 226mm by 104mm by 183mm the kit shows the larger headlamp, chrome plated-style parts and a well-detailed engine. The front and rear suspensions are functional, offering authentic movement during construction.
Finished builds make attractive display pieces. Chrome-finish components lend an authentic shine while the provided decal options let you choose between standard and "Spring Collection" schemes for a period-correct presentation.
