The Tamiya 18615 Manta Ray Mk.II puts classic Mini 4WD styling together with PRO Series engineering. This 1/32 scale kit sits on the MS chassis, which uses a three part construction to give a balance of strength and tunable flex, while the mid-ship motor layout supports predictable handling on the track.

Exterior Design and Powertrain

The Mk.II features a split left/right rear wing and prominent front fenders that enhance its aerodynamic silhouette. The redesigned N-02 nose assists airflow control. Drive comes from a Type 130 Double Shaft motor, coupled to a 4:1 gear ratio and 16mm rollers to provide steady acceleration and reliable corner exit.

Designed for straightforward assembly without glue, this kit is ideal for collectors and racers who like to customise. It accepts a wide array of Tamiya upgrade parts to refine performance or appearance. Two R6/AA/UM3 batteries are required to run the model and are sold separately.
