This 1/32 scale Roborace DevBot 2.0 brings the autonomous race concept into a compact Mini 4WD build. The Tamiya 18656 kit is built around the MA (Midship AERO) chassis to combine aerodynamic body lines with a stable platform for track or display use.

Chassis Design and Handling

The MA chassis centres the motor to help maintain aerodynamic balance and handling predictability. The setup includes six low-friction rollers plus a rear skid bar to reduce roll and help keep the car tracking. The monocoque frame design keeps the build approachable while the included 3.5:1 gear ratio provides balanced acceleration.

Bodywork and Finish

Constructed from Flat Black ABS with fluorescent orange POM accent parts, the body uses four main components and decal details to mirror the original livery and dash graphics. Black fin wheels and low-profile tyres complete the race-inspired profile.

Enhancements and Power Requirements

The kit is compatible with a wide selection of Grade-Up Parts so you can tailor handling and weight distribution. A Type 130 double shaft motor is supplied, and the model requires two AA batteries for operation, which must be purchased separately.
