For the 2004 JGTC season NISMO campaigned the 350Z in place of the GT-R. The Xanavi Nismo Z, driven by Satoshi Motoyama and Richard Lyons and powered by a 2987cc V6 twin-turbo, won Round 1 and Round 6 en route to claiming driver and team honours that year.
This Tamiya 1/24 kit reproduces the racing Xanavi Nismo Z with precise proportions, measuring 195mm in length and 84mm across. The model mirrors the car's widened wings and extended front and rear panels. Nylon mesh is used for the front intake to suggest realistic airflow openings, and the kit includes a die-cast under panel pre-coated in black for solidity and easier finishing. Metal transfers are provided for mirrors and the Nissan badge, while tyre markings are applied using pad printing. A display base with a nameplate is supplied for presentation.
