This finished 1/12 scale motorcycle is released under Tamiya's Masterwork Collection and is intended as a display-focused reproduction of the 2006 Kawasaki racing machine.
The Kawasaki ZX-RR acted as Kawasaki's four-stroke racing prototype following the marque's return to factory competition in the early 2000s. The 2006 model featured a large-capacity inline four-cylinder engine and revised aerodynamic bodywork developed for top-level circuit racing. Across that season the bike produced competitive qualifying and race results, including several noteworthy podium finishes for the factory team.
Provided fully finished, no assembly is necessary. External form and race livery are reproduced at 1/12 scale, with surface detail emphasised through paint and pad-printed markings. The inline-four engine casting is modelled, and the exhaust follows the four-into-two-into-one layout used on the prototype, including an etched AKRAPOVIC marking on the muffler. The tyres are synthetic rubber for a realistic presentation, and a display racing stand is included for static exhibition.
An immediately displayable finished replica that captures the subject bike's silhouette and detailing for collectors and model enthusiasts.
