2008 Super GT Icon: MOTUL AUTECH GT-R (R35)

The MOTUL AUTECH GT-R left a clear mark on the 2008 Super GT calendar, campaigned to the Super GT 2009 rule set. The competition car featured a 4494cc V8 DOHC engine with transaxle drive and a carbon-bodied low profile that aided airflow and balance. Piloted by Michael Krumm and Masataka Yanagida, the car achieved notable podium placings, including second in the season opener and the fourth round.

Detailing and Scale Accuracy

Tamiya's 1/24 rendition faithfully reflects the GT-Rs aerodynamic silhouette and sponsor livery with pad-printed precision.
