The Tyrrell P34 is famed for its six-wheel layout, a novel attempt to improve front-end grip on street circuits. Ronnie Peterson raced the car at Monaco in 1977 in the blue and white First National City Bank livery, and despite problems with tyre development the P34 featured aerodynamic updates including a full engine cowling.
This 1/20 scale Tamiya kit reproduces the P34 with attention to period detail, showing the DFV engine and its ignition leads plus photo-etched seatbelt buckles to enhance the cockpit. The set also contains a display base with a nameplate and a clear case so the completed model is ready for exhibition.
