The Nissan Fairlady Z has long been admired by enthusiasts, and the 240ZG is a notable early 1970s variant with its "aero dyna" nose, integrated bumper and spoiler, wide overfenders and covered headlamps. Introduced in November 1971 for the Japanese market, it was equipped with a 2.4-litre inline-six that underpinned the car's sporting image.
This fully finished 1/24 scale model from Tamiya recreates the Fairlady 240ZG with period-accurate proportions. Measuring 179mm length, 71mm width and 53mm height, the car is presented in Grand Prix White and displays the long-nose, short-deck silhouette. The bonnet opens to expose a modelled 2.4-litre inline-six complete with twin carburettors and transmission detail. Metal-plated components give a realistic chrome effect on the window surrounds and headlamp cover rims. The model is supplied on a presentation base with a nameplate and housed in a transparent case for protection and display.
