This finished parts panel is a Masterwork Collection display that arranges selected components from the Yamaha YZR-M1 Valencia to show shapes and surface detail at 1/12 scale.
The Yamaha YZR-M1 used during the 2005 World Championship season represented further development in Yamaha's four-stroke racing programme. For 2005 the machine incorporated a strengthened frame, revised suspension and brake control systems, and an inline four-cylinder 990cc engine. The engine head was changed from a five-valve layout to four valves per cylinder to improve high-rpm performance and efficiency. The Valencia example was finished in a recognisable white and red block livery for the event.
Offered as a finished parts panel rather than a construction kit, the product displays selected parts laid out for inspection rather than assembly. Each panel is supplied with an aluminum nameplate and a unique serial number, and components are positioned to emphasise external form and finish. The panel is intended to serve as a display item and study aid for model makers and collectors.
A thoughtfully arranged display panel that preserves the visual layout of select Yamaha YZR-M1 Valencia components for reference and exhibition.
