The Tamiya 24069 kit presents the second-generation Honda City GG in 1/24 scale, reflecting the slim profile and practical design that defined the late 1980s compact. The model aims to deliver clear, accurate external detail for collectors and hobby builders.
First sold in October 1986, the Honda City GG was equipped with a 1,237cc SOHC engine producing roughly 76hp, providing commendable performance for a small commuter car. The vehicle used front MacPherson struts and a rear rigid torsion beam layout, traits that explain its steady handling and are echoed in the model's presentation.
This kit uses Tamiya's Snap-Loc system so assembly can proceed without cement, and it includes synthetic rubber tyres with realistic tread patterns. Decals and metallic stickers are provided to detail headlights, taillights and small exterior trim pieces.
