Faithful avex Dome Mugen NSX Reproduction

The Tamiya 24193 - 1/24 avex Dome Mugen NSX kit allows modellers to build a faithful replica of a 1997 JGTC contender. The project car, developed by the "mugen + Dome Project" from the Honda NSX, used an aluminium monocoque strengthened by an internal roll cage and carbon fibre bodywork for improved aerodynamic performance. The kit captures signature aero parts such as the front spoiler, canard elements and the large rear wing honed in wind tunnels.

The competition NSX ran a 3,450cc V6 from Mugen tuned to over 450 horsepower. The model does not include a running engine but provides a detailed engine bay, an accurate interior and under-chassis detailing to satisfy display builders. The kit reproduces the distinctive blue scheme and includes waterslide decals for authentic race markings.
