Launched in 1999 for Honda's 50th anniversary, the S2000 returned the maker to a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports layout. Valued for its streamlined look and engineering, the car used a 2-litre DOHC VTEC engine with about 250 horsepower. The Tamiya 1/24 kit captures the S2000's distinctive silhouette for scale model displays.
This model kit reproduces the elongated bonnet and aerodynamic nose with careful moulding. It offers display flexibility with the soft top shown either open or closed. The kit includes decals and metallic sticker details to complement the finished paintwork.
The interior is replicated with bucket seats, an F-1 style instrument panel and aluminium sports pedals. The underside shows the engine, transmission, double wishbone suspension and dual exhaust layout, all modelled to present a convincing static display.
