To mark Ferrari's 40th anniversary in 1987 the F40 became an emblem of performance and design. This 1/24 kit from Tamiya recreates that emblematic shape and includes an opening cowling to reveal the twin-turbo V8 beneath.

Which paints give the best finish on this kit?

Both acrylic and enamel model paints can deliver excellent results; use a suitable primer first and apply thin coats. Lacquer paints give a high gloss but require compatible primers and good ventilation.

Are the decals easy to apply?

The waterslide decals included are typical of this class of kit. Use warm water, decal setting solution for tight fit, and handle carefully to avoid tearing or misalignment.
