The Tamiya 24308 kit captures the Xanavi Nismo GT-R R35 from the 2008 Japanese Super GT Series at 1/24 scale, offering modellers a chance to build a faithful small-scale representation of the race car. The layout focuses on the car's period-correct race appearance.

Historic Return and Model Highlights

After five years away the GT-R returned to competition and achieved a one-two finish at the season opener. The full-size racer used a 4494cc V8 NA engine producing in excess of 500ps. The kit includes options to model either the No.22 or No.23 entry from that season.

Kit Parts and Finishing Choices

Supplied parts include metal-plated roof sections, moulded slick tyres and top-grade Cartograf decals. Metal transfers are supplied for badges and mirror surfaces, and extras such as nylon mesh, tyre markings and masking stickers are included. For extra finesse a separately sold photo-etched set can be fitted to improve scale detail.
