The Tamiya 24359 kit brings the 1989 Sauber-Mercedes C9 to scale, reflecting its success in that World Sportscar Championship season. This 1/24 kit recreates the racing shape and the car that achieved seven wins, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The kit reproduces the C9's aerodynamic form and mechanical features with precision. The 5-liter V8 twin engine is modelled in detail and can be viewed under the removable rear cowl, while the suspension and cockpit parts add realistic depth to the build.
Enhancements include photo-etched elements for the intercooler, oil cooler, engine heat shield, wing tips and belt buckles. Cartograf decals and paint masking stickers are included so you can finish cars numbered 61, 62 or 63 from the 1989 races.
