Tamiya has released British Army Centurion Mk.III in 1/35 Scale Models assembly kit under Tanks Military Series category

In 1942, development work were only available in the Centurion, a British hefty cruiser tank designed to counter the effectiveness of German armor. Notable design features were the sloped frontal armor (a preliminary on a British tank), effective 600hp motor, and Horstmann suspension system. Firepower finished up being taken care of by either the 17 pounder (76.2mm) weapon or its 77mm variation. A preliminary batch of six Mk.we Centurions have been completed in April 1945, and even though that has been far too belated to allow them to achieve the leading lines ahead of the German surrender in-may, work proceeded on unique Centurion variants: the Mk.II was presented with a fresh cast turret, before being superseded in 1948 by the upgunned Mk.III including its 20 pounder. The Mk.IIwe Centurion first saw combat action within the Korean War, appearing its well worth over and over repeatedly inside the hopeless back-and-forth struggle. In later years, it had been exported to militaries in European countries, Asia, Israel and Egypt.
