The Cromwell Mk.IV was a fast British cruiser tank of World War II, notable for its mobility and for mounting the 75mm Q.F. Mk.V/VA gun. It saw extensive service during the breakout from Normandy and in operations across northern regions of Europe.
Tamiya's 1/48 interpretation reproduces the Cromwell's turret rivet detail and the perpendicular hull plating. The model captures the distinctive large-diameter road wheels and supplies many exterior fittings as separate parts to aid precise painting and finishing.
The kit features a die-cast lower chassis for added realism and weight, while the track assembly is designed to show natural sag for display authenticity. An optional rear cowling is included, together with three marking options to represent different wartime vehicles.
